don't be a turkey

We went to the Children's Museum in Niantic, then our favorite -- Book Barn. We loaded up on books, and then headed over to check out Rocky Neck State Park and make good use of our park pass. Driving toward the beach, we spotted some wild turkeys -- first four large males, then, as we turned around and went back to take some pics, a mom with 7 baby chicks in tow. Most of the chicks took off as we harrassed them into posing for us, but we managed to snatch these two pics:
