Over near the rope swing, two downed trees cross each other. Underneath seems to be a favorite hangout for teenage trout. The other day Dante and I spotted maybe 30 or 40 lurking in a neat row in this spot. So naturally the boys had to get their net and muck up their haven.
Meanwhile, Lucia was looking for some dinner and was disappointed to find that I had brought only some water and sunflower seeds. To make them more appetizing, I started making shapes out of the seeds. At her request, I made the above image of cousin Dave trying to tickle Lucia. She knelt down and gobbled the scene up like a goat.
